The best thing I loved about my co-op experience was the friendly and welcoming environment. I was welcomed by every employee in the inpatient pharmacy at Scarborough Hospital. They were all willing to help me not only in the pharmacy, but also in the long run, figuring out my strengths and weaknesses. Some of the things I did at the inpatient pharmacy was manage the inventory, go to the floors to restock drugs and I also packaged drugs.
At co-op, I disliked the fact that everything was very routine. Everyday, I would come in and repeat the same tasks. This got a little boring for me, but I am glad I learned about myself and what my likes and dislikes are. I
My supervisor was very friendly and welcoming. She was on reason why I have no regrets about my co-op experience. In the future, for your next co-op students, you can give them more feedback on things they can work on improving in their job.
The environment is very positive. Everyone is very open and friendly. They make you feel very special.
If you are planning on becoming a pharmacy technician or pharmacist. You will love working at the inpatient pharmacy due to the environment and people around you.
