Enjoyed going out with the line crews and observing their work. I was rarely alowed to go out with them. My co-op was spent sending locate faxes daily, calling customer disconnects and weeding the gardens in the yard. When i was in the field i wasnt aliud to touch anything or work. In case i got hurt.
I was stuck doing alot of paperwork and observing. Not much hands on or learning.
Be a little more clear on the posting and not so broad. It would also br nice to get exposed to some handson learning and getting into the field. I did alot of landscaping, and paperwork. Wasnt exactly in the job description
Alot of gossip.
Worse then my highschool.
Alot of guys wouldnt look at me, nevermind talk to me
I am sure there are good areas of hydro one to work for. And it is a large company with good benefits, but as a co op i would look into other utilities if you want to learn. My co op was spent doing faxing, calling disconnet customers and landscaping the unwell kept yard(as in gardening, weeding). Not exactly anything to do with electrical engineering. Unfortunatly my experience was bad.
