My team was extremely supportive and integrated me into their practices and learning right away. I felt comfortable asking for help and critiques at any time, and they always gave thoughtful feedback.
I worked as a product design intern, so my work heavily involved working with my PM and developers to build products and MVPs. In terms of design skills, it was a lot of data visualization and product thinking, which were the areas that I was looking to grow in.
There's really not much to say here. Sometimes, there'd be misalignment on what was required for a certain feature of a product, but all was solved through quick communication.
Would not change, great feedback style and clear and consistent communication to ensure I was comfortable/had work to do.
The UX team had a lot of weekly rituals, events and workshops that created an atmosphere that was fun while learning tons. Social events that they planned were amazing, and rituals like weekly critiques and lightning talks helped me become more comfortable with giving and receiving feedback, a huge skill for all product designers (or anybody, really).
