I loved getting the experience of running a business. As an intern, I was exposed to almost all areas the branch has to deal with. I also loved working with my coworkers. For the most part, my job was all about Customer Service.
I worked way more hours than I was told I would be working, usually 6 days a week. I had very few Saturday's off. The hours are long, with each day being a minimum of 11 hours, sometimes up to 13-14 hours a day. There was no work-life balance for me, and it made it hard to do anything outside of work.
My direct managers in my branch were fantastic. They always gave me advice and support to continue to improve and better my sales and to always learn from my mistakes.
We all got along extremely well. We made sure to have a lot of fun whenever we could. We were always pulling little pranks when customers weren't around. Or we would take a few minutes to play catch or soccer to make our days go by faster. We also hung out with each other after work. We would frequently go for dinner and drinks.
Be aware that each branch is run very differently. Ask about expectations at the branch you are assigned to, as my branch had expectations that exceeded what I was told in my interview process, thus made it frustrating for me at times.
