Working at NSP was definitely one of my best experience. Here I was trusted with a variety of projects, all that allowed me to develop and improve my understanding of what I l have learned at school, also enhanced my knowledge in the energy sector. NSP genuinely supports students towards a greater success, providing me with learning opportunities and rewarding challenges throughout the duration of co-op term. All the people who work at the Ragged Lake are supportive and knowledgeable, they certainly created a collaborative and welcoming work environment.
I would say the least favorite parts of my co-op are the onboarding process was kind of slow and the long wait for things to get approved. I waited more than a week which is pretty long considering I had 4-month co-op to get my own login of the desktop. However, for a company like this size, it is understandable that for things to get approved might take some time.
My manager was super busy all the time but whenever I had a question, He was there for me.
I would say that's one of my favorite parts of this co-op. Learned so much in the field.
Overall, working at NSP is definitely a great experience. But I would certainly hope some sides such as request approval could be more efficient.
All the people who work at the Ragged Lake are supportive and knowledgeable, they certainly created a collaborative and welcoming work environment. You can always count on them for any questions you may have or any help you may need.
I was actually hired to do a second coop term and I can definitely see myself working at NSP for full-time.
I would say is to set a goal for yourself and people here will help you to achieve it.
