The Compufix experience
I repaired the hardware and software of a wide variety of devices such as cellphones, laptops, desktops and game consoles. Received devices from clients listened to the problems the devices were having gave verbal diagnostics quoted customers the estimated cost of repair and carried out the repair process. Billed customers and showed them proof of repair and returned their devices to them
The main downside was the fact that there were some mundane tasks which were part of the process of everyday work there like cleaning the store and taking out the trash bit I understood that this was all necessary to keep the store intact up and running.
The company has alot of experience to offer they could do with more comprehensive price list so as to prevent continuous needs to contact the supervisor for the prices for some of the unusual procedures and repairs that pop up from time to time.
Working at this company the supervisor was very accessible and being only 3 in the store it was very easy for us to bond and get to know one another and share views about the field including some really good career advice coming from my supervisor.
Learn as much as you can about the variety of technology you will be exposed to andseize the opportunities to learn the valuable skills they offer here including soldering.
