What did you like best about your internship/co-op? What type of work were you doing?

The Junior Credit Analyst role exposed me to credit through the analysis of a variety of mortgage products. The role was flexible enough that I could begin with easier to analyse 'conventional' product and move up from there to more challenging products and clients. This was a great way to learn about the mortgage and credit analysis world.

What did you like least about your internship/co-op?

At times the role can become a little repetitive, especially when working on vanilla deals over a longer time period. Thankfully, there is usually a variety that is available to work on and can be assigned by the full-time analysts upon requests. In addition, special projects are always available as the internship goes on.
