What did you like best about your internship/co-op? What type of work were you doing?

I loved helping others along their career pathways, whether it was getting a part-time job in school or a full-time job after graduation! Working as part of a team, participating in the hiring process of new staff and developing facilitation materials was also an enjoyable aspect of this role.

The work load was variable. Some days would be very busy in the centre and other days would be slower.

Feedback to management about the internship/co-op program: 

Amazing management! Training was very thorough and ongoing. Regular check-ins to see how you are progressing in your role and the staff are tiered to there is always someone "higher-up" to ask your questions to if one person isn't available.

Monthly social activities. Very friendly and welcoming student culture. End-of-term celebrations scheduled with higher-up staff as well.
