Many skills I honed or acquired during my internship is very transferable.
I liked that I could manage my own time so long as I met my responsibilities, and some of the friendships I made along the way. I was involved in the full-cycle recruitment process, from screening to hiring to offboarding. I worked on projects to help analyze data and advise process improvements, and facilitate Orientation.
I didn't really know how management perceived me/the quality of work I was doing, and did not feel I was coached effectively by people outside my immediate team. I did manage to get a performance review when I asked for one.
If offered a casual position I would need to consider before deciding.
This is a fantastic organization to have your internship at. People around you care and want to support your learning experience. Be yourself, and speak openly about your qualifications, and show enthusiasm.
